Zion National Park: 8 to 10 hours round trip. Available April to October. Utah's first national park, designated in 1919 known for its incredible canyons, and rather than looking down from the rim as in other parks visitors walk on the canyon floor and look up.
Once inside the 229 square mile park the Zion Mount Carmel Highway twists and rolls through and around Zion Canyon connecting the south entrance with the east entrance offering fantastic views of the canyon with its massive cliff walls, magnificent monoliths, mesas, high plateaus, and desert landscape of sandstone canyons. Wind your way around sweeping switch backs along side vertical cliffs as we snake our way through some of the most magnificent scenery you could ever hope to experience.
